Save Custom Chart As Template. Right-click on the original chart and choose Save as Template. After changing the marker design and line type to smoothed line then we decided to save it as a template for later usage.
To reuse a chart you customized you can save it as a chart template crtx. Add icons or illustrations from our library. You can also save the template as a Word Macro-Enabled Template dotm file or a Word 97-2003 Template dot file.
Right-click the chart and select Save as Template.
In the Save Chart Template dialog box in the Save as box type an appropriate name for the template. Right click on the chart and click on the Save as Template option. Clicking the Save As Template option brings up the Save Chart Template dialog where you type the template name and click the Save button.
